The Red Hawk
The Bird-in-Hand Red Hawk was developed for versatility; it truly is one carriage that fits all. It can be used in all three events of combined driving. The Bird-in-Hand Red Hawk is used to train this five-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding, Bombay Sinclair, on Nubbin Ridge Farm in Vass, North Carolina. Benefits of the Red Hawk are that it is well balanced and light enough for a single horse, but rugged enough for everyday use. It has a pole and can also be used when pairing Bombay Sinclair with his full brother Bono. (Photo by Ilene Keatley - Driver is Michael Keatley)
