The Aerocrown
The Bellcrown Aerocrown is a single seat vehicle that we created in 2010 especially for miniature horses, ponies, and donkeys. Very similar to the Minicrown, it has a lighter Superide suspension designed not to exceed a 200 pound load. There is an option for a heavier suspension if desired.
The Aerocrown has a removable floor so that stirrups can be used. This is a great vehicle for pleasure driving, combined driving events, and marathons. It dresses up nicely and looks sharp for show.
Available in sizes to fit 27″ to 36″
Approx. 95 lbs.

I love my Aerocrown! I have the single seat and marathon shafts. The 26" wheels look great with my mini. My advice to drivers is to buy the best equipment they can afford." (Driver is Kathleen Carey Plock - Photograph by Gerald Plock)

"My Bellcrown Aerocrown with its brown leather single seat and pinstriping gives me a very comfortable ride. Since I have progressive osteoporosis, my dealer went above and beyond to assure me of what would work best for my horse and my personal situation. This has fostered my love for Bellcrown carriages." For shows, pleasure driving, and Combined Driving Events, Shirley Spoon Knox needs a safe, well-balanced cart that is versatile. She drives Wuffie, her chocolate dapple Miniature Horse, to her Bellcrown Aerocrown on her Knoxhaven Farm in Lawndale, NC. "I have had many carts and carriages in my long life, but this cart is the icing on the cake. It is easy for me to handle and is a smooth, comfortable experience for both equine and human. Plus it is aesthetically pleasing from all angles." (Driver is Shirley Spoon Knox - Photographs by Janice Holly Booth of Just Beautiful Animal Photography - Purchased in 2013 from Carriage Machine.)

Salute to Driving is a United States Equestrian Team Foundation Benefit to raise funds for the High Performance Driving Program. It helps cover expenses for World Championship drivers who qualify to compete internationally. Created three years ago by Lisa Singer and supported by her friends and the Aiken Driving Club, the three days of clinics, benefit dinner, and Combined Test were held at Windsor Trace, Windsor, SC on March 1-3, 2013. Janelle Marshall organized a Mini Bumblebee Quadrille as the lunchtime entertainment. Sharon Crawford-Mackay choreographed a modern version of "Flight of the Bumblebee." Drivers were Sue Doughtery, Pat Gilbert, Leslie Avey, Janelle Marshall, Jay Willis, Linda Willis, Kim Allen and Mary Sheehy. Ann Pringle of Driving Digest reports in the May/June issue, "Driving to 'The Flight of the Bumblebee,' a quadrille of miniature horses all decked out in black and yellow leg wraps with drivers in black and yellow shirts, buzzed around the arena while weaving in and out, going round in circles and crisscrossing all over the place. It was well worth the wait." (Photograph by Driving Digest - Drivers are Linda Willis and Kim Allen - Purchased from Driving Essentials, New Holland, Pennsylvania)
